The product
HD-Media was an early player in 360-degree photography and virtual tours. The core product let clients take high-definition photos that were automatically stitched into 360-degree views. They'd then log into our management platform (built on Joomla) to link these views together and create navigable virtual tours.
Building it up over time
This was my first job, and it was product development, not agency work. Over the years, the platform grew from a simple photo viewer into something much richer. We added the ability to customize the viewer interface, layer in music, place hoverable information points directly onto the 360 views, embed videos, and add navigation links between photos. The product kept evolving based on what clients asked for and what we thought would work.
